Inspired by the "Preventive System" of St. John Bosco, Cedar Ark Academy seeks to maintain a classroom atmosphere where the dignity of the child is respected.
In addition, teachers will formally teach, model, and reinforce 15 self-directing skills that promote positive life skills. The 15 self-discipline skills are integrated within each school day.
The four basic rules for student behavior are: respect yourself and others, invite and include others so all may participate, bullying is unacceptable, preventable and must be reported, and follow classroom procedures.
